Our Story

Over the Years

Founded in 1976 by David and Margaret Schuh, Schuh Construction has grown from two men and a bobcat to a team of roughly 50, a fleet of machinery and equipment, and a recognized leader in commercial and industrial building design and construction throughout Northeastern Wisconsin.

For over 45 years, our company has successfully partnered with thousands of businesses, municipalities, communities, non-profit organizations, and private property owners to help achieve their building goals and dreams.

Transcending Generation:

David, Margaret and David’s brother, Roger, built a solid foundation of the business and set a path for the next generation. Schuh’s commitment to excellence and strong work ethic continues to be pillars of the business today. David and Margaret’s two sons, Kurt and Pudge Schuh manage the day-to-day operations, strategic growth opportunities, and ensure the tradition and values they were taught.

Today, Schuh Construction employs roughly 45 employees, who are the lifeblood of the company. Schuh’s commitment to safety, training, and innovation keep the retention of our experienced and talented staff incredibly high. We are proud that the average retention rate among all our employees is 13 years.
